My project “Lenin”. A bust of Lenin 1,3 meters tall. In entire history of post-revolution Russia there wasn’t individuals more popular then Vladimir Lenin image of whom became imprinted on everyone’s brain. Taking his Bust I combine it with my own reproductions of Roy Lichtenstein. This way I create art object of post-soviet culture. Among the images on bust there are scenes ironically express glorifying of aggression and violence that parallel times of Soviet regime during which one could be executed for created such art piece.
